Hosting is what keeps your website online. After you purchase your domain name (.com, .net, .org or any other tld you will need to have a place to host it. These are specialized servers that are connected to the internet and stay turned on 24/7. This allows others to access your website when they visit the domain name. The hosting fee covers the cost of the servers as well as the needed maintenance on them to keep them up and running.

A domain name (or tld for short = Top Level Domain) is what you purchase to mark your space on the web. The most common domain extension is .com - as well as .net and .org. All work the same with hosting. Once purchased you will need to set up your DNS on the domain to point to the hosting server to activate the hosting. This can be done for a fee if you need help with it. Just submit a ticket and we will be glad to help out!

With the purchase of hosting you will receive your own account on the server to access your hosting panel, as well as access to the client portal. We are now also including access to our members area to view the website tutorial videos. We hope to teach others how to use Wordpress and Woocommerce to build ecommerce websites. The hosting fee is a monthly charge to continue to access these areas, and to cover your fees for keeping the domain online and active. The client portal is to view and pay monthly invoices for hosting as well as the place to view the knowledgebase, and submit support tickets if needed.
